As part of Nike’s collaboration with “Red” to help raise awareness about HIV and AIDS, they’ve launched special red laces under the slogan “Lace Up, Save Lives”. 100% of the profits from the sale of these laces will be channeled to both the Global Fund and other soccer-based community programmes aimed at educating people about AIDS.

On 30 Oct 2009, Nike made a stop at Methodist Girls School for one of the Nike RunKL events. Not only did they come, they brought along a van full of running shoes for the lucky students to experience over a 2km run that morning. However, the shoes tested by the students weren’t your everyday running shoes. These babies were equipped with Nike+ technology.

On Sunday, 8 November, Find Futsal Malaysia conducted a photoshoot with a whole array of NIKE football boots and 2 pairs of NIKE futsal shoes. What’s different and significant from our other photoshoots is that this is the first time we used models as part of the set.

Trying to stay true to our aim of bringing an extra little something to potentially mundane photoshoots, this is what we came up with.

The featured shot which was released on our Facebook page and titled “It’s 14.11.09 in Brazil” took us quite a while to pull off.

We might be a litte late on this one but its sheer coolness definitely makes it worthy of a delayed article.
