Just under 2 weeks ago, on the 5th of January 2009, the FFM crew were invited to the premiere screening of FourFourTwo: Road to South Africa 2010 held at SOULed Out, Hartamas.

Naturally, besides the other journalists and bloggers, the show’s entertaining hosts were on hand to make a small presentation of one of Astro’s latest offering.

Jay Menon and Jason Dasey were also kind enough to pose for pictures at the event.

Each week, football fans can expect to see discussions on one of the eight groups, the key players and relevant updates and news leading up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

Jason Dasey did say before, “The first version of FourFourTwo, which was launched in August and extended to a one-hour show in October, is registering very healthy ratings. Hence, we wanted to leverage on the increasing popularity of the show by giving Malaysians the FourFourTwo: Road to South Africa 2010, serving as a one-stop destination for all 2010 FIFA World Cup South AfricaTM news.”

The show also takes a look at two nations – England and Australia – bidding to host the 2018 World Cup. England 2018 spokesman Clare Tipton-Kenny will be a special guest along with Ben Buckley the CEO of Football Federation Australia where a clip of the Australia 2018 video hosted by Nicole Kidman will be showcased.

The show airs on Astro SuperSport (CH 811) every Thursdays at 9pm.
